I am currently working at Juicy Temples! I am a full-time lead designer and I push my potential every day.

I spent 4 years studying graphic design while I interned at a creative firm called 2820 working with clients like Disney, Universal Studios & Kodak. I also interned on a film for Haxan Films that was distributed and I do have an imdb credit! I have been practicing design professionaly since then for almost 4 years now.

Would of been, could have been…

April 24th, 2009

… worse than you ever know.

Some of you know I was in a car accident at the beginning of the month. I found out last week that my Jeep was totaled “officially”.

Album

So today (Friday) my wife and I decided to go car shopping. We left at 8:30 am to take my daughter to daycare. I never forget my daughters security blanket but I did today. Why why why?! – Had to turn around and go back to get it. I got back at my house at 8:37 am.

As I pick up my daughters blanket from the floor by the front door, I’m about to walk out. Suddenly I hear a LOT OF NOISE coming from my upstairs and the next second some dude runs from my stair well with one of my backpacks and out the back door.

I must have yelled at him pretty loud because he dropped my bag at the back door and hauled ass. Inside he had my apple laptop, 2 still cameras, a video camera and all the chargers and stuff + some lense stuff. At least 3k of stuff in that bag (that HE loaded up). Stroke of luck?

Police showed up with a helicopter, patrol cars and a K9. Didn’t find the guy. Never saw his face. Got prints, though. Maybe a description of his car. I also found that I forgot my debit card on my desk (that he was burgling from) but somehow it slipped under a single piece of paper. He also didn’t break my Slave 1 lego I had blocking his way to my laptop. It’s now covered in print dust.

This whole thing was kind of my fault because I didn’t lock the back door.

If I didn’t forget such a little thing I would have had to go back to my house in the afternoon to pick up my check the insurance company fedex’ed today for my Jeep with nothing left in my house. Check actually came right as the police were finishing up the reports and such.

Went to a dealership and got a deal on a 2007 Mercury Mariner. We were originally looking for Jeep Liberties. We got the Merc fully loaded. (- sunroof)

Album

Modest Mouse always has a track to my life. Courtney might get a kick out of these lyrics.

Modest Mouse – Dashboard

Well it would have been, could have been, worse than you would ever know.
Oh the dashboard melted but we still have the radio.
Oh should have been, could have been, worse than you would ever know.
Well you told me about nowhere well it sounds like some place I’d like to go.
Oh it could have been, should have been, worse than you would ever know.
Well the wind shield was broken but I love the fresh air you know (the dashboard melted but we still have the radio).
Well it would have been, could have been, worse than you would ever know (the dashboard melted but we still have the radio).
Well we talked about nothing which was more than I wanted to know-ow-ow-ow-ow.

Now here we go!

Oh would have been could have been worse then it had even gone.
Well the car was on blocks but I was already where I want (it was impossible we really couldn’t we really couldn’t)
Oh Should have we ever even after everything get to tomorrow (it was impossible we really couldn’t we really couldn’t)
Oh cause the world don’t like us it’ll shake us just like we were co-o-o-o-ld
