I am currently working at Juicy Temples! I am a full-time lead designer and I push my potential every day.

I spent 4 years studying graphic design while I interned at a creative firm called 2820 working with clients like Disney, Universal Studios & Kodak. I also interned on a film for Haxan Films that was distributed and I do have an imdb credit! I have been practicing design professionaly since then for almost 4 years now.

2008 – A Year for Learning

December 14th, 2008

This year we learned a lot of new things. We learned how precious life is, especially when it sleeps through the night as early as January. Even after moving into a new home in beautiful Winter Garden. It is beyond a shadow of a doubt that Makayla has been the highlight of our life. It’s been a long road, so here it is in a shortened form.

1 to 6 months of age
Makayla started babbling, tracking movement and playing with things. We moved into our beautiful house on the golf course. Makayla’s favorite song was “New Soul” by Yael Naim, had her ears pierced, she flipped over, stood up, danced, laughed uncontrollably, started eating baby food. April brought some interesting moments. Makayla started growling and won 1st place in a photo contest! We learned that Makayla doesn’t much appreciate mashed green beans and peas, loves cups and thinks cats are funny.

6 months +
We started sitting in the grocery cart, went swimming the first time, started saying “mamamamamamamama”, waving in combination with the word “hi”, crawling and more words like “dada, mama, baba”. I officially started my business which is doing well now! Makayla was a lady bug for her first Halloween. At 9 months she started walking and at the verge of 10 months started walking places on her own.

In November Makayla turned 1!
She had a very awesome birthday party complete with a chocolate fountain and a professional round cake with matching smash cake. She had a lot of Turkey on her real birthday which was on Thanks Giving this year. She now says “more” in sign-language accompanied with “mo mo mo” when she wants more food. She walks everywhere she goes, including to the park, a mile away. She places her dolls in her fake baby stroller and pushes it around. She sits forward facing in the car seat and communicates very well. We are very proud of her and look forward to 2009, a year of CHANGE.
