I am currently working at Juicy Temples! I am a full-time lead designer and I push my potential every day.
I spent 4 years studying graphic design while I interned at a creative firm called 2820 working with clients like Disney, Universal Studios & Kodak. I also interned on a film for Haxan Films that was distributed and I do have an imdb credit! I have been practicing design professionaly since then for almost 4 years now.
Klaus posted on his facebook something pretty awesome today. I just wanted to say I love where I work and I’m really glad to have a another friend of mine in the studio with me. I must say I’ve been pushed harder than I ever have been in my career and I enjoy every bit of it. So far most of my Juicy experience has been working on development with “limited” design. I have yet to fully brand a project with the “Juicers” but we’ve got a few coming up that are big enough. I’ll probably sweat bullets during these projects but BOY are they going to be GREAT.
Had a great trip to South Carolina the other day. Short notice trip to visit Brandon Advertising and others in Myrtle Beach.
We drove in the pick-up, the four of us, up to SC. Took over 8 hours. Got in Wednesday night around 10/11 pm.
On Thursday I met the mayor, had a meeting, had lunch at “Long Beards” and tried some Elk burgers. They were really good. Met the owner of the small restaurant. After that we went back for another meeting. Watched a presentation for the Hard Rock Park in the Rock n’ Roll room upstairs.
Went to the Hard Rock Park to tour after the meeting. Toured around… really really nice. Kind of “abandoned” and creepy too. Full of unsold merch. At the end of the “tour” with the new Operations Director we went to a double wide trailer full of crates of candy. Candy that’s expiring before the park re-opens. Candy that is getting thrown out if nobody eats it. Sweet! Literally.
Went to PF Chang’s with a bunch of great people. Had a lot of fun. Left Friday morning and got home around 8pm.
Had a good trip. Have a lot of work to do. Pictures are posted on Facebook
